It is important that students are exposed to more programming. Giving students more opportunities to program components and built around them, is very important. The LCD/OLED display is a great way to do that. They also work with pixel art creating tools to create visual designs, convert them to appropriate format so that the can be used in the code. In this case, bitmap data is converted into binary and displayed on the OLED.
