Using Java's Improved GUI Development: JavaFX

The transition from Java's venerable and less predictable Java Swing & AWT is to be replaced by the 'newer' JavaFx.

JavaFX makes it much easier to add custom backgrounds, text/font styles using CSS. It also allows for widget (ie. button) styles. This is going to be fun!
