It's been a while, but I have been "re-defining" myself and my priorities. New opportunities, new ideas and resumption of old ones. So, here is what is on my multi-tasking plate:

1. A return to 3D printing...fun! Will use, as in the past, in architectural design & 3D prototype modeling while emphasizing the Design Process.
2. Inspired to become much more familiar with GUI programming in Java. Learned a lot over the years, but want to become more proficient. Will be looking for as many online resources to do this. That decision coming from the most unexpected way, but when people give you lemons, make lemonade, right? :-) I've discovered that GUI development is actually fun.
3. A return to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). With the push for STEM and STEAM programs, making the design process more authentic continues to be my goal. Taught some CFD years ago, but software was not as accessible and user-friendly. Good options today for students to utilize such technology and actually design via modeling/structural analysis.
4. Continue to brainstorm and evolve my game idea(s)  for ANDROID platform and possibly PC/MAC platforms.
5. Doing my best to inspire students to be creators and not consumers (or copy-cats). Very important priority to teach students how to program and encourage them to find use the vast number resources available to help themselves become independent programmers (learners). It hasn't been easy, but I have a strong crop of students I have identified that I am optimistic will do some truly creative things (and actually know what and why they are doing what they do). I have also trained them to be more comfortable with trouble-shooting and discovering for themselves. Emphasized software development.
6. Working on Minecraft modding & programming curriculum. Fun.
7. Continue to hone my Adobe Flash(Animate), Cinema 4D, Blender, SketchUp skills for both 2D and 3D modeling & animation. Also continue to improve my Java and Python skills to be able to provide more to and for my invested and truly motivated students.
8. Continue to hone my architectural scale modeling techniques. Using matboard(butter board), balsa & basswood & 3D printing to create architectural components/parts.
9. Looking/searching to share my skills/talents beyond the traditional classroom setting to reach more students, especially those who would otherwise not have such opportunities.
10. Enjoying incorporating more ideas for the "A" in STEAM. (A-art) Recruiting more ladies into programming, technology use & loving it!
